Our FAV Places To Eat In The Area
As a student traveling to a new town for college, it’s hard to know where all the best food spots are in the area. We’ve compiled a list of our FAVORITE places to eat around town and they are all in close proximity. From beignets to carne asada, we’ve got something for everyone! Let’s learn about some local places to eat!
Jaded Toad (Cotati)
Jaded Toad BBQ & Grill has a beautifully themed location and their food is incredible! They’re known for their smoked brisket and ribs but range all the way from fried calamari to shrimp tacos. Grab some friends and make sure to check out their happy hour Monday-Friday from 2-5 PM.
Sonoma Sourdough Sandwiches (Petaluma)
Calling all sandwich lovers! Sonoma Sourdough Sandwiches has quite the variety, with over 30 different sandwich options you can choose from. It’s definitely worth checking out and it’s quite a hit amongst SSU students!
El Rancho Taqueria (Rohnert Park)
Are you a fan of breakfast burritos? According to one of our staff at Seawolf Living, El Rancho Taqueria has the BEST breakfast burritos, but that’s not all they have! They have mouthwatering carnitas and carne asada, and items for vegetarians as well. Try it out and let us know what you think!
The Twins Restaurant (Cotati)
In the mood for breakfast or lunch? Why not BOTH? The Twins Restaurant has an extensive breakfast menu alongside a full lunch menu. On the breakfast menu, they range from chilaquiles to beignets (yes, that’s right, BEIGNETS!) For lunch, they serve a variety of sandwiches and salads. This is a restaurant you’re NOT going to want to pass up!
