At Seawolf Living, we want you to take a few moments and smile, so we've compiled a list of silly animal fun facts that you probably didn't know. Here are some fun facts for finals!
We share around 98% of our DNA with gorillas.
Koalas can sleep up to 18 hours a day.
Humpback Whales don’t eat for most of the year. They live off their fat reserves for 5.5-7.5 months each year.
Arctic foxes change their fur color depending on the season.
An elephant’s tusks are actually teeth.
Unlike normal bears, panda bears have vertical slits for pupils, which are similar to those of domestic cats.
Dolphins produce bubbles to herd their prey to the surface.
Male rhinos are called ‘bulls’ and females are called ‘cows’. The young rhinos are ‘calves’.
Sloths are surprisingly good at swimming.
Beavers have a transparent third eyelid that protects their eyes when swimming underwater.
