Mathematics, Pathways, and Possibility: Preparing Students for STEM through UCSF MESA: MESA prepares Bay Area students for STEM competitions through project-based learning, mathematical modeling, and engineering design challenges. We support teachers with professional development, classroom resources, and stress-relief strategies, while partnering with full school sites and community organizations to strengthen STEM instruction. This talk shares how MESA builds pathways into mathematics and STEM, and my own journey program leadership. Open to all students, faculty, and community members.
