HUB x BSS x BSU: Black Student Union Watch Party - A Different World Discussion & Pumpkin Decorating

This special event will acknowledge the pivotal role and positive affects A Different World (1987) has had on Black culture and feelings toward higher education. Then SSU’s very own, Dr. Patrick Johnson, will dive into what it means to see Hillman return for a new generation from an Ethnic Studies viewpoint. After the discussion, we invite students to decorate carved pumpkins while watching a Halloween special from the original series.
