Human Trafficking Advocacy Training

Sonoma State University, in partnership with the Redemption House of the Bay Area, the Human Trafficking Center, and in sponsorship with Operation Underground, is hosting this on - day Human Trafficking Advocacy Training. This training is open to all members of the campus and surrounding communities, especially those that are advocates, medical professionals or those who own service businesses (e.g. hotels, restaurants, construction, etc.). We also welcome students, staff and faculty from SSU that are interested.
This will be a FREE one-day training (but you can attend a part of the day if you cannot attend it all). This sessions will be held in the Student Center Ballroom on Wednesday, September 10th, 2025. The event will be from 8am – 5pm with a break for lunch.
This course is designed to provide advocates with the skills needed to be successful in the anti-trafficking field. Advocates will learn the skills that will enable them to understand how advocate for and work with victims and law enforcement.
