The Human Side of AI: What Mathematics Taught Me About the Future of Work: What do a math tutor, a statistician, and an AI seller have in common? More than thirty years of solving problems. In this talk, I trace my journey from teaching mathematics to helping organizations embrace AI, using that experience to examine how work is evolving. Drawing on Microsoft’s research, I’ll argue that AI’s greatest impact is amplifying human judgement, creativity, and critical thinking. Open to all students, faculty, and community members.
